Works as advertised. Competitive price. Works slightly different than previous docking stations.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1700 laptop and wanted a 1-stop docking station solution. This works, at a competitive price, but wasn't exactly what I expected. With previous docking stations that I have used, the laptop would clip or slide directly into the docking station. This docking station connects via the USB "C" jack and a USB "C" cable. That being said, it does what I needed it to do. I was a bit nervous that the USB "C" could handle communications with multiple monitors but that has not proven to be an issue. I have found, however, that my wireless mouse is more responsive plugged directly into a standard USB jack on my laptop as opposed to going through the docking station.
