My mom bought sweating to the Oldies 2 when I was a teen and I did the tape more than she did! I was always curious to try the other videos. I am now in my late 20s and due to a bad car accident, I cannot always do the high-athletic type videos that you see on the market today. So I decided to try Richard out again, and I have not been disappointed. My favorite videos are 2 & 3 due solely to my song preferences. Also, knowing very little about Richard Simmons aside from these videos, it's been kind of interesting to see him in the special features and get a sense that he really loves what he does and that he cares about the people he is marketing to. Now I just wish someone would come out with another line of videos where I can jam to some heavy rock like Ozzy, Alice Cooper, and Megadeth...I'm just that kind of girl. :)Read full review
The DVD's are wonderful. Great sound and picture quality, much better than the VHS set I used to own. I play and workout to these DVD's all the time.I like that there are people of different fitness levels working out. His workouts can be used for the very beginer just starting out,to someone in advanced shape. His workout are really easy to follow and he is very energetic and encouraging throughout the workouts. I enjoy the bonus interviews at the end of the workouts including showing how much weight each person working out has lost. What can I say, I love Richard Simmons and I'm not embarrassed to say so. This was well worth every cent. What a bargain!
