About this product

Product Information

Namco Bandai's second release for Wii is a compilation of nine original coin-op games and five enhanced titles designed specifically for the motion-sensing console. Classic arcade games include Galaxian, Dig Dug, Mappy, Xevious, Gaplus, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Mania, and Cutie-Q. All are emulated versions of the classic quarter munchers, with original cabinet artwork appearing as static backgrounds. The Wii-exclusive titles are re-imagined versions of past Namco hits, including Rally-X, Galaga, Gator Panic, Motos, and Pac'n Roll.

Rally-X Remix incorporates Mii characters in go-karts as they race across maze-like tracks, while Gator Panic Remix involves quickly targeting and whacking 3D chomping gators. Galaga Remix is styled after light-gun shooters, with players aiming the Wii Remote at swarms of incoming 3D targets to protect a perpetually rolling Pac-Man from harm. Pac 'n Roll Remix, inspired by the DS game, involves guiding the yellow mascot through an assortment of 3D, hazard-filled mazes. The final title, Pac-Motos, has players bumping enemies off a grid-shaped playfield.

Best ebay experience in years. Seller had video showing the radio worked (A+), pictures of paint on the radio (so no surprises), and had a flag set on ebay when they would be away which included return date (A++) . So great communication was already there without me asking any questions! Very pleased with product! As described! Packaged perfectly. Thank you!

    Not really classic

The disappointment in this game disc is not the games themselves, but rather the fact that all of the advertising infers that it contains, "classic arcade games." In actuality however, this is Pac-Man and Wii characters involved in various scenarios. Perhaps the games on this disc were at one time in arcades, but I was looking for something that went back to the original days with standard Pac-Man, Galaga and similar. This disc seems pretty much just another attempt to milk a few more dollars from the Pac-Man name.

  • 14 Nintendo Wii Games Pacman Ms Pac Man Galaga Fun

I've only been able to watch my older daughter who is a serious gamer watch play this game who is bored easily with it because it is way to easy for her. I've just had neck surgery so am unable to play myself but it looks like it will be a blast to me when I'm able to play. I'm more in to the kiddie type games, so I think it will be more fun to me. I'm not so much into the RPG Games like my oldest daughter and her husband. That's why I wanted the Wii in the first place...to play more of the kiddie games like Mario and fun kid stuff. I loved the Nintendo(super). I think it will also be a great game for younger kids, and that they will enjoy it lots. Can't wait till my grandson gets a tad older so he can start playing the Wii. It won't be long. I love the graphics, and my daughter ...

  • Good but not quite the same

Even in the midst of more spectacular graphics, I still wish I could play the old Atari favorites like Galaga, Galaxian and Pac Man more than any game they turn out these days. Unfortunately, on Namco Museum Remix for wii, I found Pac man almost impossible to move (maybe it's my lack of experience), and I couldn't find a rapid fire capability for Galaxian and galaga, which I found frustrating. The NEW Galaxian remix DID have a rapid fire capability, so I enjoyed this game, but for me, they still haven't brought these games to their original enjoyable format yet. Maybe one day ...

  • Namco Museum Remix

I am a big follower of the Classic Namco games being as I was born in the dark ages when we played with the joy stick for video games. When they titled this Namco Museum Remix they definitely weren't lying. If your expecting to see anything remotely familiar to the original PacMan and other museum games you will be highly disappointed. But if you like a little twist to your classic fun then this is for you. I've only paid it a hand full of times and it's growing on me. Still wished I'd bought the Namco Museum Classic instead of this one. Need the familiarity of it I guess. But all in all it's good clean fun.
