I had that aquarium & stand for over. 20 years and have replaced the heater several time including to other aquariums and never had any problem with the elec. lead length but the one I just purchased find it too short so I had to purchase a short elec. lead from bunning to reach the power point in cabinet.'
I believe it's poor and not good enough.
