Remarkable hardware that is impossible to set up and therefore unusable!
The hardware is in working order but, because of outdated software design it is virtually impossible to actually use the scanner. I printed two reams (about 1,000 pages total) of documentation, read much of it and was unable to set up the scanner to work properly with my hardware. I you look around for reviews of this machine, you will find others with similar experience. The machine is as excellent as the hardware software interface is difficult. A network engineer, within and IT center may have better luck, but this is an enterprise only solution. The sense is that it was being unloaded on eBay for these reasons. NOR RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!!! PS this review is by a PhD educated hardware/software tinkerer who has been building computer systems for work and play since 1977!The hardware is in working order but, because of outdated software design it is virtually impossible to actually use the scanner. They work great, highly configurable!
Once configured, these work very well and are easy for the end user to operate. Can be mapped to multiple network folders, and has AD integration that allows multiple users to operate it. Tip: Log in as local admin on the device to configure the device and map folders. Manual was not clear on this.
