    Average speed, easy to install if you have the correct tools.

    Not the fastest, but it is SATA so that explains it. It did do what I was expecting which was bring back to life a newer laptop that had an SMR drive in it. These are Micro Center branded, so you might want to check there first. I would avoid used SSD's of any kind as the drive has a limited life span aka TBW. M.2 is far faster but, this laptop only offers SATA.
