Different from their debut,but in an excellent new way.
I love how Tina Root did more experimental vocals on the album,and lighty changed their original sound. There's a differne tfeel than Serpentine GAllery,but it's not a negative variation,it shows more talent and creativity and how addictive the combination of Susuan Wallace and Tina Root really is.Bread and Jam for Freances by Switchblade Symphony shows the evolution of one of the most memorable dark wave bands in history and how the divine result of creativity creates a wonderfully sophisticatd sound.The album is highlighted by "Dirty Dog", Soldiers","Insect" and "Rollercoaster".Every song on the album is amazing,but these tracks in particular epitomize the slightly different newer sound the band took on. Bread & Jam For Frances - Switchblade Symphony (CD 1997
A great second album from a band that broke up too soon after they began to have success. The music is crisp with voices that really give you chills. They experiment more on this second album with different styles. The album changes throughout and keeps the listener interested the entire time. This album works great as either sounds to relax to or as great background mucis to be "romantic" with. I just wish they would have released more songs before the breakup.A great second album from a band that broke up too soon after they began to have success.
