Julia really knew how to cook and teach cooking.
Someone borrowed my copy of this and failed to return it so I bought another. I like this book better than the next one, Julia and More Company. The Los Gatos Gateau cake recipe is worth the price of the book.

I bought this because it includes recipes from her shorter "...& CO." TV series which do not appear in Julia's other DVD series or cookbooks. It was the easy puff pastry recipe which first caught my attention, but there are about a dozen others as well. Anyone who wants access to as many Julia Child recipes and methods as possible. . . you'll want to add this cookbook in your Julia collection. You may end up using this one more often, even though it is shorter than the other Julia cookbooks. You should read it cover to cover, since it is not long, none of it is complicated, and nearly all the recipes are things you'll want to try.I bought this because it includes recipes from her shorter "...& CO."
