    Great Book, from a great writer.

    I first heard this on CD by focus on the family. I then read the book. It is a great book. I guess it wouldn't be called a fairy tale - it is more fantasy. George MacDonald writes similar to C.S. Lewis in "The Chronicles of Narnia". Really a great book if you like to read children's stories. It is somewhat of a difficult read for younger children because of the big words that come from a book written in the late 1800's. While the story is intented for children, the book is interesting for adults. I think it would be more appropriate for a middle school student. I love this book.
