    Zatoichi is many happy smiles!

    I'm a Zatoichi fan so I think this is a great box set for a good price. This series of movies have a consistant quality and anyone that enjoys samurai movies will be pleased and have many happy hours of entertainment. The only draw back to the set is the cheap box that the movies are housed in. Otherwise, enjoy many times!

    All new to me.

    These are some titles that i never did see before on IFC's Saturday series. They are completely new to me and probably to the average American Ichi fan. Not the later released 1hour made for TV series shows, but complete movies. They are some of the better Ichi movies in MHO since they have some more in depth and frank explainations of his interaction in the Yakuza. Probably why IFC chose not to air them??? If you liked the older movies aired on IFC you will like this set.

    Marvellous Samurai Movie

    I really like a samurai theme since I first saw my first Akira Kurosaw movie, The Seven Samurai. To see the actor Katsu Shintaro master a swarod and acting as a blind person is marvellous.
