Niko is lured to the bustling Liberty City from Europe by his reckless cousin Roman, who sells him on a life of luxury with quick cash, fast cars, and faster women. Roman has considerably overstated his wealth, however. The cousin is indebted to the type of people who don't take "no" for an answer, and he desperately needs Niko's help.<br><br>So begins Grand Theft Auto IV, which returns players to a revamped Liberty City teeming with pedestrians, vehicles, and criminal activity. The game's tongue-in-cheek version of the Big Apple features replicas of four boroughs as well as a portion of New Jersey. While the environment is smaller than the area found in 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the setting is more densely packed, offering a greater amount of things to see and do. A new physics model forms the backbone of the advanced 3D engine, allowing players to interact with objects and characters in more lifelike ways. The storyline is designed to offer more meaningful choices as well, with Niko able to access key contacts and messages at any time with his camera-equipped cell phone. <br><br>The world is once again viewed from a third-person perspective with players able to freely walk, run, swim, or drive with little to no restrictions. Combat continues to incorporate hand-to-hand moves and gunplay, albeit with a new aiming system designed for more precise control. A reticule can be manually positioned for pinpoint accuracy, or it can be set to automatically lock onto the next available target. Niko can also duck behind objects for cover, trading shots with enemies who do the same. New ways to interact with the world include GPS-equipped vehicles, functional police car databases, working window scaffolding, and much more. During the day or at night, players can listen to a variety of licensed songs from dashboard radios in cars, trucks, boats, helicopters, and other vehicles.

Worst game to install
Nothing against the seller, it was as described. But the game installation sucks. You have to know every little thing in order to get anything done. You have to know the serial number, of course. But then you have to know a product code, an activation code. Ridiculous. You have to go online and generate one. Then comes the release date confirmation. It doesn't work so you do it manually. Stalls and stalls for ages. Then doesn't work at all! I can't even uninstall it because now it says my computer is incompatible with %p. I deleted all the files for it, and yet it's still on my programs list. If I ever meet whoever made this installation so hard core secure I will hurt them severely.Nothing against the seller, it was as described. But the game installation sucks. Graphics are amazing, however, graphics doesn't make the game perfect.
Just to let you guys know this game must have 64bit computer to work. Sadly, I haven't been able to play this because my computer is only 32bit. Still, I have played this game on a friend's pc and it's actually a blast. Graphics are pretty good but I do see alot of bugs, which makes me think this game was rushed like the other ones. The only flaw is that it takes a LONG time to install and SO so many updates, installations. I have to say this is the longest game/software or anything I ever came across that took this long to install; I'd say around 45 minutes would be the total time. I recommended you get San Andreas as that game is so much fun and despite the out-of0date graphics, it's much better compared to IV.Just to let you guys know this game must have 64bit computer to work. Not about the seller. After endless attemts to install a brand new sealed pc version, I was meet with obstacles every step of the way. Read more blogs, complaints, dead end fixes, watched more YouTube video fixes, followed endless dead links all in frustration. To top it all, it would not allow me to uninstall from my computer (windows 10). I was forced to do a system restore to finally claim my computer again! It's going in the next days trash! I will cut my losses now after investing money time and endless frustration and never actually getting to play the game! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!Not about the seller. What makes GTA 4 great is Liberty City is a huge sandbox that you can explore and do virtually anything you want. You can do the main story, hang out with various friends you meet who have their own missions, steal a car and raise havoc on a ... Feel like shooting some pool? Head over to the pool hall and play a game of 8-ball in a mini-game. Or, go bowling or play darts; each mini-game could be a stand-alone game in itself. Or head over to the local internet cafe and check your email, browse dating sites, the local news, etc. Voice-acting is some of the finest in the video game industry, especially in the cut scenes, some that are good enough to be in a major motion picture. You can acquire an arsenal of weapons from a back-alley dealer, including pistols, SMG auto, shotguns, sniper rifle and rocket-propelled grenades. Just walking around the city is a gas since the NPC's AI is so unpredictable. People get hit by cars and fights break out, arguments ensue, cops chase suspects down sidewalks, etc. As you can imagine, there are a lot of LOL moments! Though most of the missions revolve around going out and shooting some dude, or a group of thugs, the characters are so well done and the stories are varied enough that it doesn't get boring. My few complaints are about the PC controls. GTA 4 is designed for consoles and it shows, especially in controlling vehicles using the W,A,S,D keys, which can result in jerky driving. Supposedly the game can be played with an Xbox controller or joystick. However, I've been unsuccessful in getting either to function correctly. But overall this is a great game that will give you hours of enjoyment and fun!
