I haven't purchased a G.I.Joe since I was just a kid.I decided to start collecting them again as a hobby due to health issues that have developed since I've gotten older. I did as much research as I could about G.I.Joe-both the ones of the 1960's and 70's and the ones that were produced in later years. The G.I.Joes that were produced when I was a kid are quite different from the G.I.Joes that were produced in the 1990's and up to about the year 2000.All of the G.I.Joes that I collect are the 12 inch action figures and not the smaller versions that were produced in the 1980's. The first G.I.Joe I purchased was infact a G.I.Joe Action Sailor but I purchased two.One was an authentic reproduction model of the figure that was produced in the 1960's.The other was a"Limited Edition WWII Commemorative Figure".There are quite a few differences between the two as I stated earlier in this review. Both have their plus's and minus's. The dislike I had was mainly only one but there was one from each model figure. The G.I.Joe reproduction figure's left arm broke completely off. This occurred as I was arranging the figure in a diorama that I'm making.I know for a fact that this "Joe" did not see any "heavy combat"like my "Joes" saw when I was eight years old. Those "Joes"were pretty much indestructible. All I was doing was arranging my new G.I.Joe into a pose and his left arm came completely off.I was able to reattach the figure's arm but it has no mobility like the right arm has.Enough about that "Joe. Concerning the newer commemorative G.I.Joe,there are actually two dislikes I have with it.One is it just does not have the mobility of the reproduction G.I.Joe.It can't be placed into but a few of the poses that the reproduction model can be placed in.Secondly,I've noticed that some of the uniform pieces and especially head gear, that was produced was produced for the G.I.Joe reproduction figure. The difference that this concerns is that the commemorative figures are slightly larger than the reproduction modelfigures. Other than that,it feels good to be involved with G.I.Joe once again !I haven't had any problems with any of the other G.I.Joes I've recently purchased and I've purchased approximately 20 so far for my collection.I'm not through with my collection by a long shot either !Read full review
Cool retro edition Joe from 94 but the black rubber suit has a tendency to melt on the figure and all over the inside. Gooy epa type mess. As long as repo box not effected and sealed accessories can be worth getting, but don't pay ore than @18 for it, shipping will almost be as much. Interesting that some of the other figures in line suffer from hand droopsy-falling off!

Comes with so much stuff. An extra uniform boots as well as scuba gear. Raft with ore, plus a really cool vintage style box. Like two for one. I love it.
