I like the fact that I can roam freely around the Inuyasha universe, explore places seen in the series and interact with other characters and get something new to do. Even though the series move on like this game never existed, this game is still a refreshing break from the series. I wish that the areas you can explore would've been more vastly build though. I'm still in the process of completing the game but so far I've liked it. The liking towards the game coming to existence can be a bit slow but give it some time, it'll come eventually as you get used to the game mechanisms. Also, the "dating simulation" is kinda fun, some actions and decisions affect your relationships between other characters making them to like you more. I haven't researched what this means in practice but I'd assume some dialogues/scenes change and that it affects the behavior in battles. You get to visit new places and explore the ones you've already seen. Your quest is to find a way to get home. The battling system reminds me a lot of Grandia's battle system, your agility determines the battle order and some characters just seem to be getting lot of turns (like Shippo). You may want to form a some sort of tactic how to battle your battles if you want to save on the healing items. I don't think the difficulty level of the game is above average, I'd say it is average at tops. After playing ps3 games, the battle pace and scouting the area feels quite slow and the graphics can be an eye sore. The environments are bright colored and keep things together nicely even though they can look a bit rough. You need to remember that this is a ps2 game, so go easy on it. I'm amused by the fact that Kagome's and Kaname's battle poses are made out of the same mold so no imagination used there lol. If you've watched the series w Eng dubs, you'll be positively surprised as the voice actors seem to be same as in the anime series (I watched mainly Japan dubbed so can't be 100% certain that ALL characters have the same voice actors). Kaname's voice actor (other main protagonist) is not as good but rather tad annoying to my taste as well as Shippo's. I think this game is great addition to any RPG and Inuyasha - lover's collection. Just remember, this game needs a little love and time and despite the fact that some annoying and poorly made dialogues (also the ones in battle; some things just sound as interesting as mildew's life story narrated by Donald Trump and are as funny as an ice cube in your pants) chaps my hide occasionally, I still think this is a good game. Not the best RPG, but still a good one worthy of your time.Read full review

I love this game and the characters. I am not a good PS2 player (nor am I good at any other game system other than GBA.SP) and I wanted a gradual start. This game was not easy, but it sounded like a good, medium sort-of challenge for me. The controls are simple and it has a lot of practicing in some random battles. Not to mention that these are some of my favorite characters! This game is a good, steady, and gradual way to begin an awesome gaming experience!!! THANK YOU!
The game is in great condition. The only problem I had, is when I first opened it, the game was not fastened down, and scratches were seen on disk. I still have completed the game but so far so good.

Very fun game I liked how you can choose from Male or Female Characters and fight your away though the story line from based on the Anime Inuyasha Series. It also has very good anime cut sense I recommend this game to anyone. you can play your favorite characters inuyasha and many more....

I think I may be alittle to nice with the rating, but I'm just trying to think of the year it was made in. It could be a very good game for it's time. Although, the parts i think would get to most players. The load times were VERY annoying. Lik you'd have a battle pop up, it'd show a 7 second thing where it'd be a slash down the screen, then it'd be black for about 6 seconds, and THEN, you'd have to wait whule it loads the characters, and the enemies. So overall, you just waisted about 30 seconds of your life, just for a battle to load. And it's not as if battle are rare either, you can battle ALOT, but unless you have ALOT of patiance, get ready to tear your eyes out. Another, and was kind of expecting this, the storyline seems really crappy... I mean, theyre pretty much taking the anime/manga, and having them forget about it so they can help you. If I were them, I don't think i'd have the time for me. About the only good thing about this game? The relationship system. Your able to build bonds with characters from the actual anime. Although it'd be nice if they had some multiple choice actions, making it so if you do a certain something, they'll like you more or less. So like I said, i'm being alittle to nice with this rating. Just be grateful I rated it what I did.Read full review
I have always wanted to play this game since I was a kid. Very happy. The disk works and there were no problems.

I bought this game because when I was younger, I was a fan of the show and I always wanted to play this game but I did not have a PlayStation 2 at the time. It is a great game for fans of the show and also great for people who don't like overly complex RPG games.
I wasn't expecting much at first. This game exceeded my expectations. Very nice animation during game play. Felt as if i was watching an episode i haven't seen. Was very impressed to see that the characters are voiced over with the voices from the TV show!! In-game graphics are decent, good storyline, and nice battle system. All in all great game. Definitely worth the buy. 9.5/10..
Incredibly rare game bought for a cheap price, highly recommend it!

I bought the product for the sheer fact that my original got screwed up after I got it back from a friend that borrowed it. I came to me with the disk a bit scratched but since I bought a used copy it wasn't anything less than I expected. So its all good. I can't really compare it to much others since this and the Yu Yu Hakusho game are the only ones I have ever ordered off eBay personally.
