The game has a couple glitches, like the EA servers are shut down so that the code that comes with the game does not seem to work. But all in all this game is a hidden gem that should have got much more publicity than it did. I think I recall reading that the original company that wrote the game went under.

If you want a vehicle driving/racing game with very poor vehicular control, this is the game for you. The "sabotage" content is an afterthought. Oh yeah, forgot about the "racy" (no pun intended) content - a few strippers, big deal. I bought the game for the stealth theme and it ain't there in the measure you would expect. This one goes on the trash heap!

On paper, The Saboteur is a winner. The plot is intriguing and the conversation is snappy. And if you tire of following the particulars of "La Resistance" there are always some nicely rendered nude women to ogle. But boil it down to the gameplay and you're left with a good chunk of clumsy third-person shooting with bits of awkward driving. The Saboteur borrows plenty of great elements from other games, but doesn't execute on them as successfully. That's not to say there isn't fun to be had because there's plenty. It just isn't as well constructed as many other similar games on the store shelf. 8.0 Presentation The ideas that drive The Saboteur are great. Paris during WWII is both beautiful and dangerous and the main storyline will rope you in. 7.0 Graphics The mostly black and white sections produce the best visuals. Other areas can look bland and some animations border on silly. 8.5 Sound The soundtrack is downright sexy and the voicework makes the mediocre dialogue worth listening to. 7.5 Gameplay From the brawling to shooting to driving the core gameplay is functional but unpolished. Luckily there's still plenty of fun in blowing up Nazis. 8.5 Lasting Appeal There's a whole lot to do in Paris aside from the fulfilling story. Whether or not you enjoy completing it all is another question. 7.5 Good OVERALL Reviewed by IGN.com http://ps3.ign.com/articles/105/1053278p1.html This game is available for sale on my eBay Store at a good price: http://stores.ebay.com/Mariio128-GamemateRead full review
Fans of assassins creed and grand theft auto will have a blast. Personally i belIve the climbing interface is a little clunky, but still easily usable. The storyline is very good. And Sean's character is a lot of fun to play. If i play this game for a few hours me and my friends will walk around using a irish accent for the rest of the day. Im not the kind of gamer who plays through games as fast as possible. I have a tendancy to play a game for months just to get a good feel for it. It definatly deserves another instalment. Perhaps with developers playing a bit more AC: Rev. And a little less GTA.
This was a pretty good game and an easy one to pour 20 hours or so into. The world is pretty open and easy to explore, and there's lots to do besides the main missions. One of my favorite aspects is that there is an emphasis on late 1930's auto racing which you get to take part in several times. Good story, good characters, good gameplay. Pick this one up!
Different than expected but good. plays like a lot of the old WWII level based games.

I've killed 15 hours and I've barely finished the first Act of the game. I'm a sucker for sandbox games that let you stealth kill Nazis in Occupied France. Blowing things up, shooting Nazis, upgrading weapons, listening to 40s music, this game has a WWII lover's taste all over it. The Graphics are very tastefully delivered from the black and white to color contrasts throughout the game. The gameplay is a lil clunky, but its just damn fun and you forgive that. The driving on the other hand... not liking it too much, but since its not such a HUGE item in this game, aside from collecting, races, and transport. It gets the job done right. The "Mature" rating. If you download the patch off XBL, you'll see it in all its glory. You actually feel like a Saboteur in 1940's France, and you actually have a drive to destroy the evils going on around it. Definate rent but its under $20, you cant go wrong from buying it.Read full review
Well I'll start out by saying I bought this game ,because it was a deal I could not pass up.I was interested to see what this game was all about.I've played so much Call of Duty games I could throw up!I needed a change. So far it's pretty cool.Lots of action, you can race cars for win or lose stakes. You get beat up a lot ,if your on your toes you can avoid many run ins.Oh did I forget to mention that your a Saboteur. You are in Paris 1940-right around that time German soldiers are pouring into France, your an Irish expatriate named Sean Devlin.Your part of the Resistance, and you have plenty of chances to rain on Germans invasion. It's kinda like"GTA-Grand Theft Auto"Check it out!
I can’t seem to put this game away, I have all the call of duty, but this game is much better. Addicting!

This is a great game, graphics are good, game play is exciting and the storyline is compelling, I really enjoy how you can go from climbing rooftops to blowing up things to racing and out running the Gestapo, what a cool game depicting the actual life of Sean Devlin.👍👍👍
