Box in v good condition for model age ie c1967, seller combined postage with another item and pass on a partial postage refund. Items were very well packaged and arrived on time.     Stunning. One to place under the Christmas tree.

    I didn't buy the model for myself. The engine is for a friend of mine, who loves steam engines as much as I do. I haven't tested the model yet, but that will happen eventually. The model is wonderfully painted, doesn't look faulty at all. I recommend Jimmy the Jinty to anyone who loves the 0-6-0 LMS tank engine.

    hornby r 2882 jinty,great body finish to this loco in the Prusssian blue.runs well on the track but must be run in for an hour or sol 30mins forward and 30 mins backwardskmake sure there is a little modeling grease on the drive gear,later models were fitted with a brass worm on the end of the motor which improves performance,
