The book has some nice pictures but not enough. I was expecting much more detailed content for the price. The Hatmaker books are much more detailed (The No Holds Barred series) but the pictures are black and white. If you want to get the most for you money buy "Passing The Guard," which is filled with bright pictures and good detial.
This book was awesome! Most of the techniques that were covered i knew but there were some small variations that i was able to pick up and thats enough for me! i also liked how the book didnt have 25 pages covering one technique, it covered a technique in just a few pages so that left more room for more moves! i dont know if it is an "expert only" book but i liked it and found it useful to me!
Very Nice Thank you

Outstanding book, talks a bit about the history of Carlson Gracie and Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Techniques are broken down into three components, sports jiu jitsu, mma fighting techniques, and self-defense. I'd recommend it to anyonre who has an interest in mma or jiu jitsu or self-defense for that matter.
