      Milwaukee Sawzall 9" "Wrecker" Blades

      Since lumber prices have exploded, I have been picking up surplus wooden shipping pallets at local warehouses. This is an excellent source of free wood for the garden and other projects. However, the pallets are constructed using a high impact nail gun, and they are difficult to take apart without damaging the wood. The best way to do this is with a reciprocating saw. The Milwaukee "Wrecker" blades do a very good job of fitting into tight places and easily cutting through both wood and nails. I recommend the longer 9" blades because a shorter blade may not reach far enough in some situations to get the job done. Always purchase the blades in a multi-pack to obtain a better price per blade.
