    Easy to replace

    The product is, just way over priced and I know the manufacturer, Yamaha sets the price. This is the second one I have had to replace. They need to be made out of a better rubber. My ski stays stored inside, so I don't know why the rubber should deteriorate this quickly.

    Direct replacement part

    Yamaha Waverunner Rear Compartment Latch

    Nothing wrong with the replacement part but the original part. Yamaha makes these best waverunner on the market but the rear compartment latches are a design flaw. This is one of the few flaws with this design.
