Also, it can place orders for goods and services, including ordering food delivery from local providers and products from Amazon. It can also allow users to control smart TVs with simple voice commands. The camera on the Bluetooth-enabled and Wi-Fi accessible Amazon Echo Spot Smart Assistant has a 2.5-inch touchscreen face that delivers picture quality at 480 x 480 pixels. When connected to smart home cameras in and around the home, such as at the front door or a child's room, users can see what is happening in those locations simply by asking the smart assistant. Receiving and making calls is simple as well and, when connected to a video chat service, video calls are also possible through its 1.4-inch speaker. The device measures 4.1 inches by 3.8 inches by 3.6 inches so it can be placed on any flat surface like a table, counter, or mantle and not take up much space.

    Great product. Compact and convenient. This has all the features of echo dot and then some. I love the camera, it’s great for dropping in on the kids. You can watch prime videos while you’re multitasking on the computer. This has a great variety of clock faces and much more!

    Perfect alarm clock for me

    I absolutely love my Echo Spot. Its exactly what I wanted for a bedroom alarm clock and then some. Super easy to set up and use. It looks great and has several optional themes. I really enjoy the drop in feature which allows us to communicate with other echo spots or echo devices, both audibly and with video depending on your type of Echo. Is it a little pricy, yes, but well worth it to me.

    Handy alarm clock and security monitor

    I like the fact that I can just speak and tell it to turn out my lights and the alarm will be set with my voice it looks good and is easy to see it night. 7/13/18 As an update I bought a wyze cam for $20 that now has Alexa support. I can tell it to show the camera I want and there it is. This is even better now.

    Expectations far exceeded

    Fantastic little device, syncs with ring camera, nest thermostat and wink router in about 5 minutes of set up. I love the fact that I can ask Alexa is the front door locked and then tell her to lock the door if needed. The Alexa plug in commands make Alexa far superior to a any other AI device and runs circles around Siri. The only gripe is the screen brightness is always on dim mode haven’t figured out if this can be adjusted, the resolution is crisp but could be slightly brighter
