Simple solution to a silly problem

Tp-link 8817 Modem value for money single port modem for low end use.
Cheap ADSL2+ modem works OK. Setup software could be better. Performs at price point only has a small NAT table size 1000(?). 8817 is being used with a bridged D-link wifi router. Has worked perfectly for last month since purchased. NB gaming not tested, was not purchased for gaming. Is working on poor quality 1.3km phone line OK. Performance is similar to cheap broadcom chip based D-link.(from memory I do not think 8817 uses broadcom chip set?) Have not had to reboot modem as yet.
