    I love the item BUT this shipper did poor packaging. There was a hole torn in the flimsy plastic package and worse yet, some adhesive stuck to the chenille from the cheap little inner bag. It actually tore at the chenille when I had to dislodge it. The seller SKIMPS on packaging which is just plain stupid when selling good quality clothing-you need to protect it better!

    Restores the finish of furniture.

    This restores the beauty of dark wood furniture. Covers even deep scratches, and makes furniture look new again! I highly recommend this product! It is very easy to use. I recommend wearing gloves when applying this product. A little bit goes a long way.

    Did not work for my dark hard wood floors

    I have scratches of white color on my hard wood floors. I applied multiple coats of the wood polish but it scratches were still very visible even from a distance. I would probably look for another option

    venerable old product works wonders on those white scratches

    This venerable old scratch remover was used by both my mother and my grandmother. Essentially, it's just a mixture of oil based furniture polish and a very dark wood stain. But it works like magic at removing those new scratches that have cut through the dark finish and revealed the light colored wood beneath. Just apply a small amount (it doesn't take much at all) to an old cotton cloth (a discarded t shirt works well). And rub it onto the surface. The oil and stain mixture will find its way into the white scratch and the results are immediate. After a move into a new house or apartment, this stuff is invaluable for touching up those inevitable furniture scratches. Just make sure to discard the cloth after using since the stuff will definitely stain anything it comes into contact with and ...

    Had just run out of the 'must-have'!

    Old English Scratch Cover is a must-have for anyone like me, with lots of wood furniture, and so nice to know that I could order it, instead of making a trip...thanks so much, the product is wonderful; it isn't a 'filler', but it makes the scratches appear to blend right in, as not to show up on furniture which has been perhaps abused by our pets, and much long wear...our beloved pieces that cannot be replaced. Therefore, I like to always keep it on hand, so yay, for making it easy.

    Very useful to restore dark furniture

    Works even in one application, two would be ideal, just my kitchen is more red, so i stopped after one treatment so that its not too dark. I had cracks in the wood finishing, now, colorwise, its not notisable anymore. I would advise to wear gloves when applying it. I have used regular cotton balls, works fine. Highly recommend due to an affordable pricing and great quality.
