    Melvin Taylor “ Dirty Pool “ CD

    Melvin Taylor is one of my Blues / Rock Guitar Hero’s ! This CD is incredible ! Melvins cover “ Born Under A Bad Sign” Is the BEST version I’ve ever heard ! And of course “ Dirty Pool “ a SRV song is well done also . The last song on the CD is a Christmas Song which was a bonus as I received the CD in December just in time for Christmas . Melvin does an incredible job performing “ Merry Christmas Baby “ and “ Kansas City “ is a nicely done version as well . Great song choices played as only Melvin Taylor can play them . He has some of the fastest guitar runs I’ve ever heard and he is a Master of the Wah Wah Pedal . Plus Melvin has incredible blues voice . The players in this CD are incredible as well especially the bass player . If you are a Blues / Rock Fan you will instantly be a Melvin Taylor Fan after listening to this CD His CD “ Rendevous With The Blues “ is also excellent ! J. Wade
