    One Of The First Space Shuttle Models

    This kit was released in 1978, but was probably tooled some time prior. As such, it has some panel lines that the operational shuttles did not. It also appears to be a bit narrow in build. The external hinges on the cargo bay doors are also another bothersome feature. However, in all other aspects, this small model isn't that bad. It goes together fairly well, while the original water slide decals (which have been replaced by self adhesive "stickers" on the current Revell release) are accurate for the Enterprise in its early flight tests only. The included cargo consist of an early design for the SpaceLab, as well as a fictional satellite. The Canadarm is included as well. In the original release of the kit, and until just a few years ago, the model included two 1/200 astronauts. Overall, ...
