Works good like you would expect. Stronger backing plate that other cheap ones lack and end up bending. A lot higher rpm and smoother than others. Comparing to the durablock brand which wore out rather quickly. The only thing I don't like is the backing pad started coming off after just a few paper changes as others have mentioned. Not a big deal but not something you expect to have to fix when it is literally brand new. Good product otherwise.

ISR 315G not working when I received it.
I affirmed that I would recommend this item as I purchased another and it works well. The first one I bought was inoperable right out of the box. The on/off switch/lever was not working. I had to remove the air supply to shut it off. This was not a disaster but just a pain in the rear. I emailed Ingersoll Rand as to location of service agents to get it fixed. Have not got a reply. Disappointed. I would try another brand if I required another one. Overall when it works it does a great job.

Awesome sander !
Don't expect a Hutchins Hustler, but this thing at a quarter of the price is well built and will get the job done. Gets a little wild especially with the heavier grits but over all it's pretty good. Makes the mud nice and flat
