Great starter GPU, for the newly serious gamer on a budget
Pros: A great starter card for the serious gamer, responds well to slight overclocks (used MSI afterburner) great value for the money. Far better than my GTX 1050 2 GB Cons; none that i've seen. If you play games, but haven't made the plunge with hyper everything, this is the GPU for you. I'm assuming, if you are looking at this, you don't yet have a 100+HZ monitor or a 2k or 4k monitor. I play games like Warframe and World Of Warships, This GPU is more than adequate for the task, it should play most AAA games with at least medium settings for 60 FPS. Yes the 6gb model has more future proofing and better stats, but it's also more expensive. Also if you have one of the Dell Optiplex Ebay refurbs, I have an i5 2400 model, This is a single fan GPU that will fit perfectly with room to spare. It comes with a Molex to 6 pin connector, but I'd recommend getting a good Power supply just in case. I suggest the EVGA 450BT, It's a 450 watt Power supply with an 80+bronze rating. It's usually in the 35.00 range, but it's also on sale quite often, mine has been working perfectly for over a year without complaint Edit: It's been a month down the road, i still have no regrets. I have tried to overclock it a little using MSI afterburner, but so far i've only got 50 over on GPU clock and 200 over on the memory. If you are getting this i'd just leave it stock, it's pretty much optimized from the get go. I have got the memory over 500 on MSI afterburner, but saw no discernible improvement past 200 memory OCVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Good Fit

Great bang for the buck.
