Item condition was listed as NEW, which states (along with other things) that the item is UNOPENED. Seller item description was "Nothing within has been punched out and the cards are still in plastic", but does not state that the item was no longer factory sealed, and therefore, not "new" in my eyes. Item is acceptable as I intend to use.

    Very Well Written Story

    Love the way these authors relay the story from each characters viewpoint. Only read a few chapters but love it and will finish it soon. Nothing salacious just a good story.

    The First Ladies by Marie Benedict

    It is a good review of history and the problems with segregation. The book makes the characters come alive . In the story you can almost imagine the real conversations these women have with each other. I learned some things I didn’t know and really enjoyed the story.

    Eleanor Roosevelt was the First Lady of the US and Mary Bethune was very instrumental in the black community and worked for change for blacks.
