    Great Edition of Catch-22

    This has always been one of my favorite books. This edition has easier to read text with an introduction by the author himself. Book came in excellent condition.

    Book review

    Book arrived in a few days, no torn pages or major damage. I am satisfied with this purchase. I have started reading it and I think that it is hilarious and similar to what is in the book “A Confederacy of Dunces”.

    Great Buy

    Great book that really makes you think about war, not only in the past but in the present and future as well. Highly entertaining, able to seamlessly switch from comedy to horror. It is quite a lengthy read but I do highly recommen it.

    Catch-22

    Reviewers generally say how funny it is. I did not find it funny. because it so truly points out the futility of war service, profiteering from war, poor leadership, and personal flaws. Events are not in chronological order which is a little confusing. Heller was a master at putting sentences together and brilliant in choosing vocabulary. A reader can anticipate a coming work and find the opposite. Yosarian is both outlandish and honest and willing to stand by his idea of what is right. It took me a while to appreciate what was happening, and after it was over Yosarian stayed in my mind, and I wondered what happened to him next. I have ordered Closing Time, the sequel.
