SynopsisBurying Father Tim is a fictional story rooted in the power of the human spirit. Narrated by a doctor who returns to his old neighborhood for the first time in nearly forty years to attend the funeral of his boyhood parish priest, the story blends hilarious accounts of childhood escapades with the timelessly poignant theme of loss. Reminiscences resonate as the story unfolds, evoking laughter in one moment and tugging on heartstrings the next. Whether you attended Catholic school or merely know someone who did, there is a lot of all of us in the story of Father Tim.

  • Mitford Series

I have read almost the whole series . It is about Father Tim and his life has a minster in a small town. It is funny, sad and loveable cast of characters in it. I enjoyed traveling with Father Tim and his wife when they went off to Ireland. I feel that most people would enjoy reading the series. I would suggest that if you can start off with the 1st book "At Home in Mitford" so you get to know Father Tim. The author is Jan Karon Dolores
