    undiscovered gem

    I own a pair of Magnepans and they are very difficult to match with subwoofers. I love sealed subwoofers because of their speed and accuracy, I still do and an old push pull Miller and Kreisel sub that does them justice. Very musical and tight. However, volume is where it lacks though I never push them that high often. I've listened to various ported subs and they just can't hold a candle to sealed units. But these, for an average of $70 with shipping are a steal. At only 8", two of them are quite lovely, fast, musical and gets loud. I generally like 8"subs, smaller surface area means faster response time. I still prefer sealed, but for home theatre, these are great!

    I never would have thought..

    That this subwoofer could present a well integrated and full range orchestral experience, when coupled with a high end two channel system, developed around smallish, floor standing monitors. It was very easy to set up and integrate. So, move quickly; I'm on the hunt for another.

    Great deal but I expected more.

    This little sub doesn't live up to it's hype , but it does pump some good bass but with 40watts I expected a heavy hitter. If I had it to do all over again I would buy this sub.
