Photographers Card?
I'm not a gamer. So I can't really say what the card will do for gaming. Photo editing works much more smoothly and quickly if one can enable hardware/GPU processing (in the likes of Photoshop, and also some plug-ins). This card works nicely, supporting everything it needs to support, perfectly. The onboard graphics of most PC's I have ever used do not. Everything happens quickly and smoothly. A GPU recovers the portion of RAM set aside for graphics with the onboard graphips chipset, making it available. It runs reasonably cool. Silent, as there is no fan. I do not have, or wish to install a massive PSU (as many gamers do, to run some of the very powerful graphics cards out there) and it has caused me no problems. Video runs nicely. The usual slick nvidia control panels provide plenty of scope for adjustment and tailoring the card to your specific needs. I'm very happy with the card. If you're into photographic editing and/or video editing I should think you will find it does all it has to do efficiently and well. By the way, NIK's ColorEfex Pro 4 (Plugin for Photoshop) is so slow it's almost unusable without GPU support, even with 8+ GB RAM. When I put this card in, it races along.
