The best original album series
I own a bunch of these series and enjoy them all. This one is my favorite. It begins with a raw garage band sound and lots of spruced up cover songs. Each album gains more sophistication in its sound. I love the first two albums the most. A good value and the supplier I bought from sent a brand new sealed set. Not what I thought it would be
I ordered this set because it had all 5 of the Rascal's albums. Little did I remember how much of their music sucked. I heard one of their songs on the radio one day which I always loved and that's what prompted me to get some of their music. In the end, there's about a dozen songs I like on all the 5 discs. Outstanding value
Five Young Rascals CD's for less than $20? Back in 1966 when I bought my first Young Rascals album, "The Young Rascals", that vinyl LP was $4.98. When you factor inflation into the mix, that's way more than the $17 and some change for this five CD offering. Yeah, the audio quality isn't as good as stuff recorded after the mid 80's, but remember all they had back then was analog two track, four track if they were really advanced.
