Following last year's excursion to Nashville, The Mollusk finds Dean and Gene back in the guise of rock & rollers on 14 tunes that defy description but are sure to delight the burgeoning Ween army. After releasing 2 indie cult-classics, Ween made a big noisy mess with their Elektra debut Pure Guava (which spawned the MTV hit "Push Th' Little Daisies"), followed by the acclaimed Chocolate And Cheese. On The Mollusk, the production is fuller, the fidelity is higher and the duo's brazen sense of satire is as devastating as ever. Gene and Dean will tour extensively to support this album.
