Wonderful communication and product arrived in excellent condition as described. Product was delivered on time as promised. Thank you for getting it to me in time for my shoot! Great price for a great product. My only problem was with FedEx. They were supposed to get my signature but instead they simply left the camera out front in a neighborhood that I warned was prone to theft. Luckily I was home and saw them as they drove away. 5 mins. longer and my camera would have been sold to a pawn shop

the right camera, at the wrong time

The folks at Canon didn't know it at the time, but they were changing the future of photography. The T90 took the auto exposure tech of the AE1 Program, and the New F1; improved on them; then wrapped the goodies in a really slick looking, ergonomic, user friendly package. Ever notice how all the cameras today have the flowing lines, the LCD displays, and lots of buttons? They're all ripping off the T90. This is the first camera to look like that. You can control just about anything you want the T90 to do, with at most 2 fingers. Tell the T90 where you want to go, what you want to do; and it pretty much does it. you don't have to fool around a lot to use other exposure modes. Just select the capabilities you want, and the camera gives them to you.. This was the last top line Canon to use ...

  • Canon T90 - A classic film camera

IMHO the Canon T90 was the pinnacle of camera design prior to the arrival of auto focus cameras in the mid 1980's. In fact it's probably still one of the very best cameras in which to put film through. Love it or hate it, and I love the curvaceous body, it's design was ground breaking and has influenced all subsequent mainstream SLR cameras. In addition to it's seamless design the T90 lives up to it's nickname of "the tank". Over the years since I brought my first body new in the late 1980's I have brought a further half dozen bodies, the majority second hand, and have had no significant problems with any of them. allied to this wonderfully robust body are the excellent FD lenses. Many of these and especially the prime lenses bear comparison with their current Canon EF lens ...

  • The first modern Canon

...and the last professional Canon with the FD mount. If you have, or wish to collect, Canon FD lenses, you really should get a T90. It has a modern feature set, fast operation, a robust build, fits well in the hand and runs off AA batteries. The only drawback is that its built-in motor drive is a bit noisy, and there's no way to turn it off (no manual film advance or rewind). The 300TL flash was designed for the T90, and features TTL flash metering and full auto operation. Simple, accurate and fast. Works great with lenses as wide as 24mm, which is still uncommon - most flashes even today don't cover a FOV wider than a 28mm or equivalent.

  • Is what it is but does it well.

This camera has absolutely no manual controls whatsoever. But it is better than a regular point and shoot because you can use a full line of Canon FD lenses. With the dedicated 244T flash, this takes very good shots indoors. You can find these cheap and plentiful.

  • Beautiful camera.

Haven't run film through it yet, but it is a mid 20th century work of art. Solid and all functions have jewel-like precision. the LTM mount allows me to use other lenses from my collection of Russian Leica clones.I am going to look for earlier models of Canon RF as they represent to me Japanese manufactured "art" of the '50's.
