Excellent recording! Fifty of his greatest hits on two CD's! Tom T. Hall writes songs that tell a very vivid picture of the story he is telling. This is the collection if you are a Tom T. Hall fan!!! Check him out on youtube if you have never heard him perform. He is also a very down to earth person!!! Get this one!!!!!

GREAT COLLECTION OF 'THE SINGING STORYTELLER'.
Fine collection of performances from a master writer. Someone called his work "extraordinary words about ordinary people" and that's the absolute truth. You can't go wrong with this collection. Tex Ritter called him "The Singing Storyteller" decades ago and the term stuck. The collection can helps prove that statement.
