Tried and True
This older model Canon PowerShot is a great solid little camera with lots of nice features. I use the semi-manual setting (Tv) most of the time and that function works so much better on this older model than on the newer models, in my experience. The camera has a sturdy feel to it (but not heavy) that doesn't feel cheap or like it might break at any minute, unlike some of the newer cameras out there. And, the image on the display before and during the shot matches the final image as far as lighting and such, an important feature that I found to be lacking in some newer models of this same camera.
