      Delicate but bright!

      A good Mantle. It is bright when aligned. I would definatly buy again as there is no alternative and the mantle does its job. There are a few points worth noting though. I have had two of these now were the support rods at the top have burnt through and failed. Also the mantle needs adjustment to get them to lock on to most of my gallaries. The old mantles did not suffer from these issues. The mantle material itself seems good. It is bright and lasts a long time if the supports do not give out. Overall a good product. I just wish Aladdin would improve the design to stop the supports burning out and also return to 60 candle power ;)

      Enough bubble wrap for an elephant

      These fragile mantles were packed so well and with so much bubble wrap that there was zero chance of them getting damaged. Needless to say, they have arrived safely. Thanks for taking so much care - and giving me so much packing materials I can use 🙂

      Have you seen the light!

      Truly a "must have" item for any Alladdin lamp owner and a superb example of an almost lost technology. Yes, they are expensive but with care when lighting they do last for some time.
