About this product

Produktinformation

Der Schriftsteller Hermann Hesse (1877-1962) war 42 Jahre alt, als er sich im Tessin niederließ. Nach dem Scheitern seiner Ehe suchte er in Montagnola Ruhe und neue Inspiration. Zunächst wohnte er in der Casa Camuzzi, einem Schlößchen über dem Luganer See, später in der Casa Rossa, einer von einem Freund gestifteten Villa. Hier entstanden viele der Werke, die seinen weltliterarischen Ruhm begründeten: "Klingsors letzter Sommer", "Der Steppenwolf", "Siddhartha" sowie "Das Glasperlenspiel", aber auch zahlreiche Aquarelle in seiner sehr persönlichen Malweise. Montagnola ist längst kein Dorf mehr, aber die Spuren Hermann Hesses findet man noch immer.
