Very good brand of clippers.
I have a single speed Oster A5 clipper that I have had since 1996 and when I was grooming full time, it was the most reliable clipper I had. I am still using it, doing dog grooming on the side. I just needed something faster for the larger breeds and I decided it was time to order another clipper. I ordered this one because it has 2 speeds. This one was an opened box and there was a loose screw that holds the base to the clipper, that holds the blades. We tightened it and it vibrated right back off. I'm not sure if this was a refurbished item or damaged and then resold. I am disappointed that I spent that much money and got a clipper with problems.

They cut good in open areas as the back....
They cut good in open areas as the back. They don't glide by any means. They started to heat up at the blades. I took the blades off and cleaned and oiled them. My dog has very thick and fine hair. The clippers didn't want to cut good on low speed. I was in hope of a better outcome.

lightweight with good power
This is a great product. My dogs has extremely thick layers of hair. It was able to work at a great pace, I was tired before the cutters. It gave my dogs a professional look with out me having any experience. I ended up only using one speed, because it worked so well and the #10 comb is all I need. I have recommended the product to everyone.

Good quality, heavy and a bit awkward to hold.
This is larger in circumference than expected. It is replacing a smaller size black version I used for many years. It gets hot fairly quickly. Use a cooling spray designed for use with this type of clipper.

Very good dog grooming clippers only one small complaint, it gets very hot and on a longer clipping job you need to stop and let it cool down because it’s hot on the animal and yes we oil and clean it

Great Clippers
First clippers that I have purchased that actually did the job without dulling the blade the first time I used them. Highly recommend. The only negative is that they heat up pretty fast so you have to keep a check on the blade head so that they don't burn the dog.

I'm pleased with the machine and so is my dog, but it warms up too fast and I don't want to burn my dog so I have to stop and wait awhile for it to cool down, then it heats up again,,, so you can see it is annoying when you need to get done and the dog gets impatience. For the price I expect better then this, but it cuts good, but it warms up too fast.

Very good purchase for the price
It was easier to cut my Blue Heelers coat in a shorter amount of time than using barber clippers but I did have to keep stopping because the clippers would get very hot. I really do not understand because I did not have the heat problem with barber clippers. Barber clippers just cut too slow. Other than that I like these clippers.
