  • Seriously good

Given a choice above of 'Yes' or 'No' in answer to 'Is it easy to use?" I had to go for 'Yes' as you can use it at a fairly simple level and you'll be fine...but there is so much more this thing can do. I'm still finding out new features and methods of achieving things weeks after buying it (and I'm reasonably experienced with mixers and effects). So I guess that also explains the 'Yes' in answer to 'Is it versatile?'. Definitely. There are a couple of limitations here and there (or maybe I just haven't discovered the right method yet...) but this one box does the work of many (and more expensive) boxes. Finally, the sound quality question. I have no complaints here at all. I can't hear it making any audible difference to the sound paling through it unless I have intentionally set it up to do so. The interfaces on different devices do have slightly different feature sets though (the PC/Mac version being the most complete I believe). There was a feature (stereo linking two Aux Busses) that I just couldn't figure out how to switch on using my iPad...only to find that you can't do that on an iPad but you can if you use the PC/Mac interface. So I set up a snapshot on my Mac and that feature remains enabled when mixing from my iPad. Job done. Great piece of kit.
