Just the ticket
Door switch arrived promptly, works as specified after easy install (mount with two screws, plug it in!). This item from Sears Parts lists for around $20+tax+shipping. Got my machine back to normal.
Our dryer stopped automatically turning off when the door was opened to check the load because of the broken door switch and this brought it back to how it's suppose to work. I found prices for this exact switch anywhere from $3 and change up to 30+ dollars and they are exactly the same switch, No better no worse so buy low and save high. This switch is very easy to install and is a direct plug and play fitment. I remind myself each time I use my dryer to make sure I ""softly"" close the door because these switches are PLASTIC which is prone to breakage but when treated within it's made design faults it will last and last. Dryer back working correctly!
My dryer would continue to run when you open the door, lucky for me it wasn't the opposite of the dryer not working at all. I researched the issue and it was the dryer door switch.
