did not do what it was to do.
it didnt record the steps right at all. it waited 4min to do anything. even when walking. getting up it waited 4min to record a thing. not good. when you walking an dkeeping track of your steps and miles. not recording it for 4min. is not good at all. so we got a different model and love it. works like we want it to. very very disappointed in the omron.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The unit is simple. It provides steps, miles, and time. It is accurate, small, light weight. Battery was included. It also has a rolling 7 day memory recall feature. Tried and True
Pros: I have used one of these step counters for way over 10 years. Only reason to replace it is because I stripped the screw to the battery compartment. I was very happy to find the same model. I like the horizonal display and how the "clip" fits on the waistband. I also like that the clip is designed to slide on without the little springs that other models may have - which can easily break or poke the midriff because they are vertical in orientation. Is this accurate?: I believe so re counting steps. Have I measured my stride accurately to calculate distance properly? Who knows. But I am only comparing against my daily step goals, so it works for me, Biggest plus: not attached in any way to a computer! No one's business but my own how many steps I walk.
