Better than a Stone Bit
Grant it I've only used it once so far but it seems to be much better than the sone bit I usually use. The stone ones lose their diameter quickly so they don't put a correct edge on the chainsaw. This one sharpened the chain quickly and did it without producing any sparks. Getting four bits for under ten dollars seems like a stellar deal to me. At least it's much cheaper than buying a new chain and this is by far the best way that I have found to sharpen my chain. Good product.Grant it I've only used it once so far but it seems to be much better than the sone bit I usually use. Tuff little buggers
A light touch is all it takes, I was a little concerned about the diamond dust coming off. I have been using them for about 2 weeks now and still on the first one. I sharpen after each tank of gas, this may sound extreme but the savings in labor and time pays off. If you do this your chain never gets to far out of specs and lasts a long long time. It takes less than 2 minuets to do and you always have a sharp saw. The problem with the Dremel stones is that after a couple of uses they are no longer the correct size and the operator starts to vary from the correct angles to sharpen the chain With these there is no variation.
