This model was a replacement of another Andis model I had, seemed like forever. I couldn't replace the batteries so I bought a close replica with this one. Pro's it works like my old one and I expect this one to last along time also. The two negatives I can say and they might not be a negative to you is that it is a tad smaller, and contoured. Didn't quite fit the same in my hand , but I'll survive. The second is the blade width is wider than the handle and it throws off your aim on precise trimming from time to time. Again one can overcome this. Just wasn't the same feel as before. Bought mine online and saved some from a brick and mortar. I think you will like it.

The Andis Slimline Pro is a great machine for lineups, lining moustaches, beards, necklines, hair lines, and it can be used for doing designs, parts and even bald shavings. Also great for balding out the bottom of skin fades/tapers. It has excellent power and it has a nice weight to it (not too light), which gives it a quality feel. I like that the blades are adjustable which is perfect so you can adjust it to the setting that you are most comfortable with. The battery has great life....You don't have to charge it as much as you would for other cordless trimmers. I would recommend this trimmer for anyone barbers or for home use/ personal use.

Very seldom do I purchase a product and review it, but my wife, after I raved about this product suggested that I do. So here I go! First off, it is absolutely the best trimmer that I've owned (especially when it's "zero gapped"). Although I'm not a barber, I've been purchasing a lot of the same professional clippers that the use between haircuts. I've had them adjusted by my barber and all, they just don't perform as well as these (I was always getting nicked by the blade)! Ergonomically, you couldn't ask for better. It feels like I have an electric toothbrush in my hand. Honestly, I could ramble on about this product, but I have other stuff to do. I can't speak for the 2nd version of this clipper, but if you're looking for that one trimmer that checks most, if not all of your boxes...this is the one! You can thank me later.Read full review

My barber uses these and recommended them. I have a pair of T-Outliners, but the incovenience of having to plug them in and cleaning/adjusting the blade was annoying. So I bought a pair of these for roughly half the price. The clippers are lightweight and easy to adjust to zero-gap. The cut isn't quite as sharp as T-Outliners, but I probably just need to adjust them some more. Excellent if you have kids, since you can cut them anywhere, which should put your child at ease. Smaller size makes it easier to trim your temples, around ears also. They also don't seem to irritate my neck as much. I highly recommend these.
