Although it's cliche to say, "a must have for any ________ fan" (something, until now, I've never said in my life) this documentary truly is a must have for any Queen fan. Lots of interviews, mostly with Brian, John & Roger (obviously) but several with Freddie as well. None of the current interviews were with John but it is a bit strange to hear him at all since he was always the quiet one of the group. If you ever wanted to hear more from John Deacon you'll get your wish from this documentary & what you get just from him is worth the price. To give you an idea of the kind of depth to expect, Brian may told of their 1st headlining tour across the US in which they sold out Madison Square Garden. You probably know that Brian may has a PHD in Astrophysics You may have never given any thought to the feelings of Brian's father, having a son with a PHD who'd rather be in a rock band (ie uncertain future). Brian invited & paid for his family to travel to NY & attend the MSG concert. After the show his father (Brian tells us wiping tears away) says to Brian, "I get it now". With 4 words he communicated to us that in that moment his father no longer worried about his son's future or the wisdom of the path he had chosen. You could see in Brian's face that brought father & son closer together than they had ever been. There are many other such intimate details revealed & that's why it's a must have for any Queen fan. Thanks for reading & if you get a copy I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.Read full review
