  • a must for Busby Berkeley collectors

The set included 4 movies Hollywood Hotel, Gold Diggers of 1937, Varsity Show and Gold Diggers in Paris. It was worth the money I paid. Some of the films are less known and weaker then some of the more famous Busby Berkeley films. For a collector of old musicals it must have. Busby Berkeley fans will like it. Gold Diggers of 1937 was better film with the expected dance numbers. Gold Diggers in Paris was my least liked film of the group Rudy Vallee does not compare to Dick Powell in the same type of role he has no personality.

  • Berkeley Package Review

I was expecting more Berkeley numbers in each movie. Most had only 1 Berkeley number. However, I did enjoy the movies overall, and was impressed by their quality. All in all, a worthwhile buy.

  • We were expecting a lot more Busby Berkeley and much less sophomoric plots

Disappointing is the best I can say. We sat through four lame movies just to see the the finale of each. We were expecting a lot more Busby Berkeley and much less sophomoric plots and silly comedy.
