    A very worthwhile purchase.

    It's a high-quality product. It also has an excellent wooden case with clear plastic Perspex cover. It certainly reminds me of the very old set I had when I was young, but they came in a grey tin container. My child who is currently 3 years-old child, is currently using it mainly for building rather than for mathematics. Hopefully that will change soon.

    a great start in maths for thu young ones

    Very well made and presented. There are many YouTube videos showing the correct use in an educational setting and this makes up for the lack of instructions with the set. Over all very impressed looks very similar to the set I used in school in the 1960s.

    Rods - A great visual maths tool.

    I used Quisiner or “rods” when I was at primary school in the 1960s. I have been hoping to get some for my primary school child for the last 4 years but didnt know how to spell it to look for it. Now I can explain decimals and division and multiplication to her visually.

    Durable and beautifully made

    I learnt math as a child with these and thought they would be available everywhere when the time came for my young boys. Not so, but I was thrilled to track down this beautiful set in my home country, Australia, and have it shipped to the US. It is such a simple and powerful teaching aid for kids to grasp the basics of math while also practicing colors and fine motor skills. The precision-made pieces come packaged neatly in a durable, solid wooden box and should last for generations, or at least through multiple siblings.

    Cuisenaire Rods

    These were the best maths teaching aid ever introduced into the qld curriculum. Why they were not continued is a mystery. I am an educator and teacher educator of 44 years. These instructional materials can be used to teach a vast range of mathematical concepts from prep to year 7.
