Blood Money is the exact sound that you could expect from Mobb Deep. They sound awesome, in their official G-Unit debut. The "big 4" from G-Unit all make appearances on different songs (Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and 50 Cent). While there isn't one track that will dominate the charts, other than the already released "Outta Control (Remix)" which appears as a bonus track, there are some great tracks on the CD. From the first track, "Smoke It" to the slower "It's Alright" the entire CD is good from start to finish. It won't go down as one of the best in G-Unit, but I would definitely recommend this CD, especially to people that like Mobb Deep's old stuff. Track 2, titled "Stole Something" featuring Lloyd Banks is great, and is my favorite on the CD. The two bonus tracks that the CD contains are also both great, and have seen a lot of plays on my iPod. The aforementioned "Outta Control (Remix)" was one of the top on the charts for a long period of time, and "Have a Party" featuring 50 Cent, and another great Nate Dogg hook is just as good. Overall, this was a really good debut on G-Unit for Mobb Deep, and the sound is awesome. The hooks could use a little work, on the ones that don't feature 50, but I definitely think this CD is worth the 15 bucks I spent.Read full review
This is to me the best Mobb Deep album since Hell on Earth. Real tight beats, and decent lyrics. A couple joints Prodigy's verses sound very much like 50 Cent versus, like on "Put 'em in their place" and "pearly gates." Havoc does his normal excellent job on production, and if you know the Mobb you know they are what they are lyrically. G-Unit's cameos are all very decent, especially 50's, which picks the songs with the tightest beats to make appearances on. "It's alright" is a very tight joint with a great sample feat. Mary J. Blige. Must have for the Mobb collectors.
The CD is brand new, no scratches on the disc or case. Very happy
