On May 6, 1970, the curtain opened on a new era of wristwatches. The famous American watchmaker Hamilton announced a new type of watch that could display the time with only digits and without hands. Given the name Pulsar, this watch would create a global sensation. At the press conference announcing the watch, Hamilton's president proudly declared, This watch computes and displays the time electronically. In 1977, LED displays were superseded by the practical but less colorful and bright LCDs. Have been sold for only 7 years, extinct digital LED watches are now collectible item due to its age and history. In MONDO WATCH DIGITAL WATCH -LED & -LED2 you can find more than 100 vintage LED wristwatches which were produced between 1971 to 1978.
