I already owned an older Nebo flashlight and wanted to try the new features. The Slyde lights up my back yard as I walk my dogs late at night. I really enjoy that I can stick the light to my fence and open the work light so that it only illuminates the ground. I can see my dogs and still see the stars. The red illumination mode works well too for having a light but also having your night vision not wiped out by white light. My other flashlights are going out the door. I'm sticking with this one.

This was a replacement for my old slyde, this light is nowhere near as good in quality as the old one was, the light isn't brighter it's weaker, it now incorporates a red light which I have no use for. I'm sad, it really was a bargain until the the company "improved" it. I wonder how much they saved "improving" this light. In the picture the new light is on left and old light is on right, notice the old beam is more concentrated? It's was also brighter

you need to get one of these for you house or car or just for the heck of it. very bright, with the focus funtion you can make a perfect spot light. the work light function is perfect especially for me since im a HVAC technician it has a magnet on the bottom so i can stick it to metal pipes and anything metal around me so i get both hands free.. the sos light is like something from a sifi movie..lol im just blown away by how well made it is. oh and all this from 4 AAA batteries. Amazing.

This is the one you need....... Great flashlight with magnetic base that really comes in handy and the pull out work light is a must have. I went ahead and got 2 more. I've had the first one for 2 years without any problems and it still has the original set of batteries powering it....You will love it!

I already have the 6156 and have been continuously amazed with it's performance. When I read that the 6525 was supposed to be new, improved, better, brighter, etc... than the 6156 I immediately bought one. The 6525 is not brighter than the older 6156, at least to my eyes. The new version has more even light without the hot spots, but it just seems dimmer in comparison. I can't tell any difference between the Slyde LED strip. The new flashlight has a zoomable lens, but not really that useful in the real world. The on/off button is also "soft" in it's action as compared to a soft little "click" that the old version had. All-in-all, I'm a kind of lukewarm about the 6525.
