Bought this car to go along with others as I've seen run at the annual sports car race reunion in the middle of Lake Erie, USA on an island and FAA approved. That due to being run on an airport runway. Good looking but some questionable handling. Jury still out on improvements. This long track car is being run on a real twisty road course. I did add some personal details byrunning a light wash of black enhancer paint over the grills, lights and wheels. The motor runs extremely hot and is the hottest running motor of my 12 cars. I'm thinking the gear mesh clearance is a bit on the tight side and have also noticed that the axle gear wobbles side to side as you manually rotate the rear axle. Outside of wanting a mode of this car and finding the details very good I'd also like it to run a lot better. So if you buy one like this make sure you immediately test it. If the motor is too hot to hold a finger to, like the others, please inform someone.Read full review

Car is fast I run at 12.5 v it would be too fast on a carerra home track at 14.8 v plus had to upgrade to a slotivision guide (longer and deeper0 for my old revell plastic track. I will also upgrade rears to appropriate tire that should make it handle like it should. The car is a bit smaller than carerra cars.

Wicked looking slot car, and an awesome runner once modified. Silicones for traction are a must as well as trimming the body posts and several other areas to enable to the body to sit LOW. Having said that, you'll also need to remove the TV interference parts atop the motor. Having said that, wow, it's a great racing car.

A well-balanced, inexpensive slot car. Good price, too.

I threw some silicone tires on the back and weighted the car a bit. It runs just fine for me.
